PragmatIC is seeking an efficient and effective projects coordinator to work with the Projects Manager to assist in running grant-funded projects, customer-funded R&D projects and customer pilot and projection orders.

Key tasks:

  • Assisting Projects Manager with coordination of projects from conception through to completion
  • External and internal liaison with customers, management and grant organisations
  • Writing reports and assisting grant applications

Qualifications and training:

  • Degree in physics or engineering discipline   
  • Degree in electronics or equivalent  (an advantage)

Skills and experience:

  • Worked in a technical/engineering role in the industry
  • Good understanding of semiconductors/electronic devices and circuits (an advantage)
  • Previous experience with grant applications (an advantage)
  • Worked in a project coordination role (an advantage)
  • Worked in the administration or management of Intellectual Property
  • Strong organisational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs (copywriting an advantage)
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments
  • Good English (verbal and written)
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines
