Quality and environmental management

We demonstrate our commitment to manufacturing and business process integrity by ensuring that we always adhere to the highest possible standards. We drive continuous improvement using a variety of tools and approaches, and overall with clear communication both internally and externally.

All our sites are certified to the following international standards:

ISO 9001:2015, Quality management

ISO 14001:2015, Environmental management

Standards applied

 ISO 9001:2015, Quality management

ISO 9001 is the International Standard for Quality Management Systems and was first published in 1987 by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), and is one of the most commonly used management tools across the world. The standard was designed to help organisations ensure that they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders, by having a framework in place that helps ensure consistent quality in the provision of goods and/or services. The Quality Management System (QMS) helps to streamline processes, reduce errors and improve internal communications, demonstrating that an organisation is customer-focused and committed to delivering high quality.

ISO 14001:2015, Environmental management

ISO 14001 is the International Standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS).  It was designed by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) to help businesses and other organisations to reduce their environmental impact, following increasing pressure from customers, regulators and governments. The standard supports the set up of an EMS that can help reduce waste, improve resource efficiency and cut waste management costs.

PragmatIC management system

PragmatIC’s management system is designed to exceed the requirements set out in the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.

Monitoring and measurement of processes

Processes are monitored and measured to determine conformance with quality and environmental requirements. Indicators such as non-conformities, complaints, environmental compliance, internal audits and management review are used to assess the effectiveness of our processes.

Continuous improvement

Continuous Improvement (CI) is part of what we do every day at PragmatIC. We use a DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control) cycle to support our CI approach, with our analytics team and data scientists reviewing data generated from manufacturing and test. We also use Six Sigma techniques and tools for process improvement.
